Opera singing is attributed to powerful and well controlled vocal releases with perfect pronunciation and flawless pitch. Among the best singers who display these attributes exemplarily is Cecilia Bartoli. Cecilia Bartoli is a coloratura mezzo-soprano from Italy. She took interest in music at a very young age, coming from a family with a musical background. The first singing lessons she took were given to her by her parents, both of whom are professional singers. She began her operatic career during her early twenties, when she debuted at the Arena de Verona in 1987. In 1988, she landed the role of Rosina in Rosinni’s "The Barber from Seville". The show had three runs, two of which were in Germany, and one in Switzerland. All three shows garnered Cecilia Bartoli highly positive acclaim for her performance. In 1991, Cecilia Bartoli’s performance in her role as Isolier in "Le comte Ory", which was held in La Scala, cemented her as one of the best Rossini singers in the world.
